Traces of Transformation

June 21, 2024

4:00pm ~ 6:00pm

Exciting for 2025, York & Main proudly presents an art exhibition that is set to inspire and engage the community.

Now Open: Traces of Transformation at York & Main Gallery

Don't miss "Traces of Transformation," an inspiring art exhibition now on view at York & Main Gallery. This compelling show invites you to explore how artists interpret the powerful ways time, nature, and human actions leave their mark.

The exhibition delves into both the visible and invisible remnants of change, showcasing how physical objects evolve, how our actions create impact, and how our memories shape our perception of place. This theme resonates deeply with the unique history and environment of Gloucester, VA, and the surrounding Tidewater region.

Featured artists include Averelle Dylan, Karyn Gallion, Eloise Shelton Mayo, Connie Powell, and Theresa Wells Stifel. Though they approached the theme independently, their works create a harmonious flow throughout the exhibition.

Join us for the Artists' Reception on Saturday, June 21st, from 4-6 PM! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists, discuss their captivating work, and share your thoughts. Light refreshments will be served.

"Traces of Transformation" runs through June 28th.

York & Main Gallery is located at 6670 Main Street, Gloucester, VA. Gallery Hours: Wednesday - Saturday, 11 AM - 5 PM, or by appointment.
