Become a Community Artist during Paint Main
Are you a local artist? Want to paint alongside the professionals? Get involved with the art community in Gloucester? Here’s your chance to participate in our fast-paced competition on Main Street during the festival. Bring your own easel and supplies to participate. All community artists are eligible not just for awards and recognition but prize money as well! And, the winner of the Community Artist Competition automatically receives an invitation to the 2026 Plein Air Invitational!

Want to be part of the Festival?
Love the arts and want to be part of the Gloucester Arts Festival? Have you attended in the past and wondered how to get involved? Like to be behind the scenes? If you would like to volunteer to help with an event we would love to have you be part of the 2026 Festival! It takes a village to put on a month-long festival and while we have dedicated committee members who work year-round we are always happy to have new volunteers join during the month of June.
